I like where you’re going with that Mode label.
I deactivated it and I get clean splashes and fast tempo chicks without any artifacts so for me you can get rid of itDoes anyone use / want the 'always send on closed' feature? If I got rid of that, I could declutter things a lot.
You can't disable this behaviour in SD3 unfortunately. The previous 'fix' was just to unload the pedal open articulation, however now with the fast stepping fix, I don't get any splash artifacts any more. If they're still happening, (with the check box ticked) maybe reset your HH CC mapping to default in SD3?monospace wrote:Didn't know that. Do you know if that can be disabled, and how, so I can compare side by side?MWJT42 wrote: Are you using SD3? That also has its own 'make a splash sound based on CC events' (rather than MIDI note) built in.
However, it's crap (overly sensitive during fast HH foot taps) hence all the work Rob's put into 1.3.

I'm pretty sure this user was referring to slowly closing the pedal and the 2Box module not silencing a ringing open hihat sound. Is this an issue on any other modules? I'll try to do some research.I tried using it on a 2Box drumit three and it worked nice, but when I closed the HiHat the sound for "Pedal closed" was still sounding on after I closed it, which did not happen with the Hats plugged into the 2box.
Checkout version .20pwohlfah wrote:Hello Rob,
since build 1.3.015 Hi Hat Splash is not working for me.
With version 14 the splash is easy to archieve
I have Roland Vh-10 Hihat controller, Edrumin 4.
any ideas, settings that should work?
