I thought that doing that, moving the green bar to the left, might kill my other zones but they’re still good. If someone can tell me how to post a picture I’ll post my settings. Might be helpful for people to compare settings.
I would like to compare your other setting to mine since we have similar set ups.

I got the idea for that from a screenshot Rob posted somewhere here.

Re: Help with setting up snare
For Wayne,
Here is my snare setting - not implying this 100 percent correct but it's working well for me in Superior Drummer.

I just did a cave man set up on it
- click the A - tap the snare - tap calibrate - hit it at different velocities around the batter head and done except went back in later and set the positional sensing just like Rob's example
Snare is Ludwig Accent Combo 14" with UFO Drums ebridge - took this photo before installing rim bracket onto shell.

Re: Help with setting up snare
I’ve got m Lyme are dialed in pretty well now following similar settings to yours, D. PS is working well and hot spot suppression is making my responsive knees faulty even across the entire pad. I can see and hear it working for sure. Definitely better than with my td12. However, Im still having a tiny hot spot that when struck is still hot as ever. Does anyone else experience this? When I hit it the hit doesn’t register in the threshold dial under hotspot suppression and the note (D#) and pad icon turn red. What does this mean? Is the hit registering too hard for the suppression to work? Does anyone else see this?

If I knew how to post a screenshot or video I would.

Really hard to see what the issue might be without seeing some data from your pad. If you contact me via technical support, we can investigate what's going on.
Re: Help with setting up snare
What is the difference between the red vertical line and the red semi circle in the ps meter?
Re: Help with setting up snare
Maybe I’ll elaborate a bit. I understand what the vertical red line on the ps meter indicates but it doesn’t always match what i hear. For example sometimes I get off center articulations when the red line is still to the right of the green bar. The red semi circle seems to move on it’s own independent from the red line. It also isn’t talked about in the manual, unless I’m missing it, so I am wondering what that is supposed to indicate. Thanks!
Re: Help with setting up snare
The semi-circle represents the CC message that eDRUMin sends. The red indicator represents the value of some measurements the eDRUMin makes. There are other variables the device measures too that can influence the CC value that is output and that's why the two indicators don't always correlate.
Re: Help with setting up snare
That makes perfect sense! That’s a great design. Thanks, Rob.
