Did this ever happen? Is this what the Rim Scaler is?Rob wrote:What I'll do to remedy the situation is add a control that allows you select which piezo the x-stick is based off of.
Help with setting up snare

No it hasn't happened yet. I've had my hands full recently. I'll either add that control or I'll increase the maximum amount of scaling. Should get to it in the next few days.
Re: Help with setting up snare
No rush... like lalo I’ve had trouble getting good performance out of a single piezo stuck to the side of the drum. Even putting it up against a lug bolt didn’t help that much.
Re: Help with setting up snare
Did mall ever fix the problem of edge triggers when hitting the center. I’m getting edge hits when hitting the center at high velocities in SD3. Also with a 14in converted snare w feel feel heads
Re: Help with setting up snare
You're talking about a positional sensing issue?
Re: Help with setting up snare
In lalo’s first post he describes my problem exactly. When stricking the center at high velocities I get the edge articulation.

Hi Wayne,
I was getting somewhat random edge articulations when hitting I think a certain velocity in the center at one point. I'm not getting that now - I'll post a screenshot for that pad when I'm on the laptop I run the eDRUMin on.
My snare is 14" Ludwig with UFO Drums ebridge center piezo.

Thanks! Sounds like we have pretty similar setups. I’ll try to find some time to play around tonight and snap a photo of my settings just for comparison sake.
Re: Help with setting up snare
Made a lot of head way. Have to do some more testing but think I nearly fixed it with the position settings. Moving the green bar to the far left was the key.

I am just setting up my edrum laptop now to look but your post reminded me that was the solution. I got the idea for that from a screenshot Rob posted somewhere here.
