Connect EDrumIn to Maschine +

Hey

I am new to the whole E-Drum thing
Usually i am a DJ & Producer and currently i am building a drum rack for DJ + Drum Live Performance

I was wondering if its possible to connect the EDrumIn (With 8 BT 1) to a Maschine + to trigger single sounds in the PAD mode

I currently have a Maschine MK3 and tryed to connect some Midi controllers and it was only possible to play the piano Mode
Probably i just didn’t found the right settings
I just want to be 100% sure before buying the Maschine +

Should work fine. The link below shows that machine has a MIDI In port.
