Controll the sequencer

Hi,

is it possible to connect drum pad into eDRUMin 8 and set it to send stop/start MIDI command (FCFA) each time, I hit the drum pad? I would like to restart my Roland MC101 with hitting the drum pad.

No, that's not possible. You can send Control Change messages though.

Can a sustain pedal connected to midi expression send these commands?

Yes. MIDI Expression devices can send Start, Continue, and Stop messages following MIDI real-time messages. Currently a sustain pedal can only send one of the messages, so you might need two pedals or a dual footswitch for start and stop.
