Spurious CC MIDI out messages from hihat...

Hello,

I'm using a VH-10 hihat and I see random low value CC messages coming from the Edrumin-10 when the hats are open. I'm using a midi monitor to view the messages.

Is there a way to increase the 'dead zone' when the hats are open to prevent these low values (CC ~4-8)? Or is there a different way to calm down the MIDI noise coming from the unit?

Thank you!

I figured it out. I needed a tiny gap between the VH-10 plunger and the cymbal clutch.

Regards!

Alternatively, adjusting the calibration range will also sort things out.

That's what I always do, if it's sending CC01 >0 when it is not played.
