New guy with edrumin4 have questions?

Hi
I received my 2 edrumin4 modules yesterday... siked..
now the fun begins: and will possibly have more questions as i go if i can't seem to dig it out of the manual and youtube vids.
Previously had rack and floor toms connected to a Yamaha EAD-10 and had no issues with Addictive Drums 2 and Reaper.
The first module will be handling the toms (rack and floor tom - splitters used) and kick, and snare. 2nd module will be used for cymbals.
Just getting a feel for the display representations: Questions using the first module for the drums :
watched the youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9_w32TWKZ0) on Transient Scanning Controls.
Referring to the snapshots attached: Striking the drum produces multiple points in the Threshold display area. One stroke on the drum should only produce one point for a given transient? From the attached screens, what do the multiple points on a transient represent?
