Crosstalk between ED10 and TD27 question

Hi I have my TD27 connected via a midi cable to an ED10 into Ezydrummer3. The manual talks about crosstalk working between a module and an edrumin via the host port but not midi ports. Only used the midi cable because I had one do I need to connect to the host port for crosstalk to work?

Crosstalk cancelation is applied to the MIDI coming the devices connected to the USB host port as well as devices connected to the MIDI port.

Ok thanks for the quick response. Loving the unit so far only thing I would like is to be able to use the 3 Roland digital pads without the td27 but from my research it’s not possible
