Re: Loss of bell, choke, and edge on an ATV cymbal
Don't worry. Your devices are fine and I'm sure it's something small. I've tried swapping 3-zone adapters, with another that's working fine, swapping the cable, and even running two separate cables to adjacent above/below ports on an ED10 (completely different unit than the ED4 the cymbal has been u...

Re: eDRUMin 2.4 BETA
I posted build 3. This build should improve support for Yamaha pads / cymbals. Here are some of the issues I *tried* to address: Unabled to trigger bell immediately after choking the cymbal. On smaller worn out Yamaha pads, sometimes a hard hit to the rimshot would end up triggering cross-stick. Imp...

Re: Snapshot loading and midi assingments
BTW, if you just want note assignments, you can adjust the load options so that only the note assignments are loaded--handy if you make changes to your trigger settings in the future and don't want to lose them.

Re: Snapshot loading and midi assingments
Yes, it only saves/loads the settings for individual devices. And yes, you may have lost the settings for the other unit if you loaded the wrong device snapshot to it.

Re: Snapshot loading and midi assingments
You should be saving/loading device snapshots not drum maps. You can save a device snapshot by opening the preset manager and then clicking on the icon for you device.

Re: Running eDRUMin on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
Can you please tell me the output of the following bash script on your OpenSUSE and Fedora distros? I'm going to make the install script work for all three. I suspect they start with 'OpenSUSE' and 'Fedora' respectively, but I thought I should make sure. if [[ -f /etc/os-release ]]; then # Most mode...

Re: using with Roland SPD SX Pro
If you are using sounds from EZD, then yes, it'll work like you want it to.

Re: using with Roland SPD SX Pro
If it only has samples for open and closed, then I can't see the ED10 being of much help in that regard.
