Re: MIDI Expression 2.9.3 BETA is available

Will this work? Notice that the CC7 is being sent last. Is that an issue? I also see that the program change message shouldn't be displaying a 'value 2' but that's just a display issue which I'll fix. 07-03-2024, 10-21-08.png Hmm... It's not quite right. Re: Dual Zone toms?

The scrolling view and the VU meters are sowing no signal from the rim sensor, so it's probably a wiring issue of the piezo is dead.

Re: More than 4 note banks?

No, but if you have an ED8 or ED10, you can connect and USB flash drive to the host port and save / load device snapshots using a pedal, giving you access to up to 32 notebanks.

Re: HiHat Hall Effect spec ?

The pin assignment is correct and yes, it's advisable to have a 0.1uF cap. Additionally, it would probably be a good idea to have a second larger capacitor for bulk capacitance, especially if the cable is long. 10uF would probably be sufficient.

Re: 3 zones hi hat out of the box

The fix is for the Yamaha 3-zone pad and cymbal pad types, so if your hihat uses 3-zone Yamaha cymbal, then yes.

Re: 3 zones hi hat out of the box

Build 35 fixed an issue where sometimes a hit to the edge of a Yamaha 3-zone cymbal could trigger the bell, but not vise versa.
