Re: eDRUMin 10 back in stock?
Here's a question based on admittedly limited knowledge of coding and microprocessors, but the though occurred to me (and I'm sure others as well), but why not use something like Raspberry Pi5 as your microcontroller and alleviate some ongoing supply chain issues? With as powerful as the RPi is, it ...

Re: DIY: finally, 3-ply+hotspotless+positional sensing
I suspect your sensitivity problem may lie in the fact that you're using the same size adhesive dot under the piezo as between the piezo and cone. Piezos need to bend or deform in order to produce a signal. The dot on top of the piezo pretty much needs to cover the entire surface. That way the force...

Re: Newbie - general advice on edrum conversion
I just saw this post, about 2.5 months after you posted it. Are you still looking for advice? I have done two A to E conversions and have learned many things that go into an affordable set up that performs well. If you're interested, let me know and I'll be glad to share what I know

Re: Error Message
Just standard connection - Second gen ED4 plugged into second gen ED10 via host port, USB to drum device. Again, edrumin functions normally even while the app displays the error message. Plugging the USB cable going to the drum device back into the PC that's running SD3 removes the message. Just gra...

Error Message
Hi Rob- I've been experimenting using a Raspberry Pi based drum sample playback unit. Of course I'm using eDRUMin for the triggering. The connection is through the USB port, not the MIDI port. It works very well with the RPi unit. I'm experiencing one small issue though. Despite edrumin functioning ...

Re: Rim Trigger question
That's good info to have. I had a fundamental misunderstanding of how it works. So, if I understand it correctly, for a sidestick sound the head trigger must also be triggered adequately in addition to the rim sensor, and it kind of looks to me like the head trigger must have signal approximately 10...

Rim Trigger question
Hi Rob I'm having a small issue with rim triggering I hope you can shed some light on. The scenario: DIY Snare with 4 side triggers consisting of 20mm piezos with .5” thick foam discs, not cones. The single rim trigger is an experimental unconventional mount designed to maximize rim sensitivity. The...

Edrumin10 feeding 2 laptops
Is it possible for an edrumin10 to be connected two two separate laptops running different VST's with a splitter to run both simultaneously, or must a switch be used to select routing to one laptop at a time? an ED4 is feeding the ED10 host port Couldn't find this topic addressed in forum history.
