Thanks for confirming. The reason it went missing was likely related to some other bug that was fixed in one of the last few builds of version 2.9.3.x.

Are you sure? I just checked here and it's still showing in the UI.

If you think you might occasionally use the pads with your Yamaha module still, then you should probably keep the wiring Yamaha style. The polarity shouldn't make a difference to the eDRUMin.

You are mistaken. eDRUMin plays very well with 2-ply. Although this thread is about hot spot suppression, the same tips applies to positional sensing.

So it's not officially supported, but seems to work the ATV 13" snare preset on the Mimic Pro. Chances are it'll somewhat work with an eDRUMin, but how well I cannot say. I'm in Taiwan, BTW. So the market getting rid of unused pads is not good, and certainly not English friendly.

Positional sensing might be doable on it, but I would have to one here in my studio to work with and look at the signal. Does the EFNote snare work with your current module? Have you read anywhere that that snare is designed for positional sensing?

I think the real question should be "Which will hold up over the long run?" I think an FSR or Hall Effect sensor based solution is your best bet as they will have fewer moving parts. And if this is specifically for use with a eDRUMin, then a hall sensor solution is the best way to go in my...

No, there's no way to remove them anymore (it caused issues), just make the top few hihat levels trigger the same notes.
