I just had a look at the code, and this doesn't *seem* to be possible. If the measured value goes to zero, the MIDI Expression will definitely send the zero. What are application are you using to Monitor the MIDI? Does MIDI Expression's built-in MIDI Monitor also show this issue? I'll try to investi...

I believe that is a known issue. Can you confirm that your device firmware is up to date?

Hard to say. I did a bit or searching, unfortunately there's not a lot of info about them. In particular what kind of sensors are in there and where they are positioned.

All MIDI Expression devices have had buffered inputd for the past several years already.

The jacks can definitely share the same ground. I'm not so sure about about the power connection, but I suspect you can. You'll definitely want to have the polarity of the inputs set though (not auto)
