Re: Lemon 3 zone cymbal/ride
Yes you would need one of those adapters.

Re: Cymbal sound assigned twice
That's because Roland doesn't define that many cymbals. For any non-standard cymbals, you'll probably need to set the output in eDRUMin to 'custom notes' and use some note values that aren't already used.

Re: Cymbal sound assigned twice
Have you confirmed what notes eDRUMin is sending? It has a build in MIDI monitor. That's your first step. And are you using a drum map? Typically you would just make sure that eDRUMin and EZD are using the same make (Roland for example) and that's all you need to do. https://www.audiofront.net/eDRUM...

Re: Cymbal sound assigned twice
Sometimes if a particular kit doesn't have a particular cymbal, EZ Drummer will automatically make it trigger something else (instead of nothing at all). Is that what's happening?

Re: Pre sales question regarding Yamaha FC7
MIDI Expression devices can handle both Roland and Yamaha style wiring. The inputs are also opamp buffered, so they will handle even 200k pots just fine.

Maybe there's an issue with that pad type. I'll have a look later today.

Re: hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
That's hard to say. It doesn't on my pads, but I spend more time developing then playing. Stick weight also plays a role. If you are using heavy sticks, that can also cause trouble.stringerbell wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 1:36 pmDoes the age and wear of the trigger cone play any role in this?

Yes the meter is on the knob. How's the tension on your drum head?

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available
I have two host-port connected ED10R2 modules, and firmware is 2.3.2.30 on both. Trying to use a USB flash drive and sustain pedal to switch through saved presets for both modules, but the USB flash drive save/restore only seems to work for the module the USB drive is connected to. Is this expected...
