I tried adjusting them to death. Sent them back. Got the Rolands and everything is now working flawlessly. I tweaked the options to suit my playing style and that's it. Simple things are the best.

Thanks Rob. I will test again but this time with the Rolands. I have decided to send the Drumtecs back for some more versatile solution that doesn't require dismantling everything all the time.

Ok seems that clicking on Rack tom 1 first and then rack tom 2 again on the mapping image on the right has 'inverted the trend', where now hitting the center shows HIT (small bug?).
