Reading the manual not sure i totally understand controlling banks. I setup edrumin10 for the drums, and edrumin8 for the cymbals. I'm using Logic Pro with 2 drum VSTs. Right now, each VST track "Midi In Channel" is set to 10. I'm getting midi from both edrumin10 and edrumin8 as expected....

Wow Rob, right on the money. I use neutrik TRS jacks. Before i screwed the barrel on the ring was shorting to the ground. Very Wierd. :shock:

Wow Rob, right on the money. I use neutrik TRS jacks. Before i screwed the barrel on the ring was shorting to the ground. Very Wierd. :shock:

With a 2nd module, thought i experimenting with a dual zone tom. Issue is tapping the rim piezo (without head attached) produces same note as the head piezo? I don't think the brand makes that much difference to be honest. Just make sure it's a 4-port hub. If you're only going to be using an ED8 with an ED10, you don't need to a hub at all.

best usb hub?

Going to purchase edrumin8 alongside my edrumin10.

Are there usb hubs out there that perform better, especially transfer speeds for drum interfaces than cheaper hubs used to connect keyboards and other peripherals?
