Re: Latency
In January 2024 I finally grabbed a used RME Babyface and an old Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. I use the Saffire in standalone mode via ADAT to have more outputs. Damn, I was really worth it. I used a M-Audio Fast Track Ultra :-) The output latency was supposedly 3 ms. Together with the eDRUMin I got (2...

Rotary Encoder wiring
Hi folks, I soldered it together as shown in the manual and it worked fine, really cool and useful feature extension! I only used the 10k Ohm resistor, but I guess I will add some capacitors to smooth the signals. I occasionally got some jumps when rotating. In your video you showed the PCB with Cs....

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available
Hi Rob, My goodness, I thought I was gonna lose it! I was 100% sure, that I've already already seen the wiring diagram of the rotary encoder in the eDRUMin manual. Yesterday, the soldering iron was heated up. All the parts ready ... and ... https://www.audiofront.net/eDRUMin_2.3.pdf ... no diagram. ...

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available
Hi Rob, I guess my DIY snare pad might by one of the 2%. I am pretty ok with the rimshot range , but I guess, I might be able to squeeze some more happiness out of this feature. I will see. This single rotary encoder idea is really neat. I always was like ... I need a bunch of knobs... I don't. Ther...
DrumBeam
Hi mates, I just discovered this amazing device from Germany, Dresden. And since these guys are also a small company ... Not a one man show, like Audiofront, but still ... I thought I will share this. There are already a few YT videos. Here is a short review. https://youtu.be/adGAqdTeuOw?si=VkGk3ctd...

Re: no shipping to Germany
I am curious, how many eDRUMins we have in Germany ...
I have four of theses fantastic devices - 4+4+10+8. The eDRUMin8 still got 6 free inputs. I have to collect more pads.
I don't know it any more, but I guess, I bought the 2nd eDRUMin4 right before the eDRUMin10 was released.

Re: Input sensitivity eDRUMin hardware
Hi Rob, I just got my eDRUMin8. Just... You printend the invoice on April 14th. One week for german customs. Damn! I definitely needed 3 more inputs. Now - I got 8. :-) So, you say the only difference in "performance" or "features" between ED4 and ED4R2 ED8 etc. is the higher inp...

Re: Dampening of mesh head kick pads
Hi! I recently tried to put a rubber glove filled with bird sand into the kick pad, behind the mesh where the beaters hit the head. Works great. A bit to much actually. I think a small fabric or plastic bag would be ok. And maybe not sand but rice etc. (damn, these thing come to my mind: rice, semol...

Re: Are These The Right y-Splitters For Lemon 3 -Zone Ride
Hi, you gave no details, so nobody can help... I use 15" Lemon, connected it to two ADJACENT inputs following the manual and works without any issues. Regarding the splitter from the link - it won't work. If you want to convert two Lemon outputs (Roland style) to one Yamaha style, you need som...
