I found one workaround that makes the Hihat playable. I am currently setting the map to Roland and also changed the module’s pad 13 voice to Hihat . I just need to find the perfect spot for the open/close dynamics. Let’s see if still worth persist with this project ( ed8 + vh13) or get my rhh135 back.

BTW, you don't need to the use the eDRUMin drum maps for the hihat. You can configure the eDRUMin to use whatever notes you want by setting the pedal to 'Custom Notes'.

Changing the setting for the pedal will make the notes for the hihat cymbal and pedal editable.

I found this, too. I should be able to use it to make a proper drum map.

Can you give the attached map a try. You can download the .edp file and import it by dragging it onto the preset manager. It'll then show up in your user drum maps like in the screenshot below. Don't forget to double click to load it. I think for best results, you want to switch back to 'Hihat Level Mode' with this map.

Great. Thanks for confirming that map worked. I've added it to the factory drum maps for the next version

After a couple of days of playing, especially with music that requires more grooves and open/close accents, I've noticed some response time issues with the opening/closing mechanism. Are there any ED8 settings that can help reduce this pedal lag?

Merry Christmas ,
Marcos
