ED 8 +ED Control 2.3.0.7 +standalone SD3=No Sound yet

Hi Rob...
i assume this more propper place? Can we continue here plz, thankyou for ur understanding

here we go :
okay... im at home
-unboxing ED8
-put it on dtx700 rack
-connect my xp80 to ED8
-connect my ED8 to PC
-Turn ON my PC
-Installing ED Control 2.3.0.7
-open Stand alone SD3
-check ED Black as input midi device on SD3
-choose Yamaha XP80 from preset Manager
-hitting the pad.. and NO SOUND
-Clicking drum icon on SD3... n theres Sound (So SD3 n my PC are fine)
-try to calibrate.. and theres signal in ED Control (So ED8 sent signal to ED Control on my PC)
-set drum map to Superior drummer map
- try hitting the pad again... still no sound
-looking for tutorial in manual n video bout connecting ED to SD3.. havent found yet
So... Anybody kind enough to enlight this newbie plz???

if u mean by "SD3 and the eDRUMin are using the same drum map" are set select drum map in ED Control as Superior Drummer Map, and choosing eDrumin Black as midi input on SD3... then YES I did... i cant find Edrumin preset on SD3 yet...so i put it as default

thanks 4 come back at me agsin Rob...
i see no midi in SD3 midi monitor.. but i try to set edrumin black as midi input on Bome Midi Translator software and it did send midi...
i try to use dtx to SD3.. snd its working as it should
seems SD3 wont receive midi from ED Control.. should i use ver 2.3.0.6 instead of 2.3.0.7?

It's not a problem with the eDRUMin.

I'm 98% sure that this setting isn't set to 'any' like it should be.

update : after i switch the USB csble from dtx to ED8... SD3 begin to sound again... thanks for ur patience Rob... i think its wire issue, dunno exactly what causing it. but solve now
even tho... i got my XP80 not supported positional sensing at all.. at least ED8 is triggering now
just wait for T950 available again in my hometown.

Hmmm. There might be an issue with the USB host port code. I'll do some testing today.

UPDATE: I tested the Host port with a pretty demanding USB MIDI device and everything seems in order. If you have time, it would be helpful if you can confirm whether or not the issue returns when you plug your DTX back into the eDRUMin host port.

Just to clarify Do you want me to do test connection from DTX700 (the module or or just XP snare) to ED8, then ED8 to PC? if this true so ED Black is the midi device gor SD3 right?

You said you unplugged the dtx from the eDRUMin host port and you got sound. I'm saying came you now plug the dtx back into the eDRUMin host port to see if the problem comes back.

hi rob,
i think we got miss communication here
what i mean is i only hav one USB cable for connecting module to PC...
at first it pluged on DTX700, so I unpluged it for ED8, but at that time ED8 cant send Midi to SD3.
then i try to replug it to DTX700 for recheck but then i get sound from SD3, then i try to plug it again to aED8.. n the problem solved. ED8 can trsnsmitted midi to trigger SD3.
perhaps the way im attaching for the second time is more propper than first time... or maybe the cable need a litle electricty streamed since i never play DTX700 for months n regarding ED8 doesnt hav power source it self.. i dunno... but its working now.. thats matter.
