AU plugin (2.8.2.11) does not work with Logic

Post by Me »

Hello
Unfortunately, the AU plugin (MIDI Expression Quattro v2.8.2.11) does not work with Logic 10.4.8 nor any other software on my MAC (Mojave 10.14.6)
The VST is OK, but Logic does not work with VST ...
Is there any chance for an update that fixes the problem?

Logic always make a test to installed plugins to verify their compatibility - and this is the test result:

This issue has been reported already. It's a permissions issue. I'll spend some time to try and resolve it today. Here's a a link to a fix:

I just posted build 12 which hopefully resolves the permission issue. Can you give it a try and let me know.

Hi
Well, straight forward it is just like before.
(uninstall the older version, restart computer, install the new one and restart computer again ...)

BUT, this time I also run the 'BatChmod' software that is used precisely for this very purpose of problematic permission, and that solved the problem. So, now it is working fine with Logic, and it might have worked in the previous version,
I just haven't checked it out before in this way ...

By the way, I have another software called 'Bidule' by Plogue where the AU still doesn't appear... (But the VST does)
But that's less important to me.

Thanks for your help.
