Korg PS-1 compatibility

Post by rlconc »

Dear Rob,
I have seen this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dK8zCRIf5M where Midi Expression is used for changing presets with a Yamaha FC5 sustain pedal in Guitar Rig 4. Will it also work with Korg PS-1 and Scuffham S-Gear 2.7?
Thank you and regards

Great! In fact I have 2 Korg PS-1. I have read in your Manual that using a Hosa YPP-117 Stereo Breakout Cable I can make them work as a footswitch with just one Midi Expression. Does this mean they are forced to control the same parameter? I mean when pressing first switch the parameter is increased by 1 and by pressing the second switch its value is decreased by one. It is true that for Scuffham S Gear in standalone mode I am only interested in changing presets but if I go into Reaper I would like to use each switch with its own different parameter. Is it possible?

Yes, each switch works independently (default), but can also be linked.
