Thanks for being patient. I've gotten Cubase 8 installed on my MBP and was able to reproduce the crash. Debugging will be a bit tricky, but I have pretty good idea of where to look. Hopefully I'll have time to fix it over the weekend.

This is proving to be a bit of a challenge. Just wanted to let you know that I'm still working on it.

I've found the issue. Still don't know exactly why it's causing problems, but a fix is on the way.

Here's my fix. There are a couple cosmetic things I want to fix yet, but it would be great if you could confirm if it fixes your issues or not.
