Did anyone manage to use DSP Trigger on Linux?

Post by Paloha »

Hello all,

I would like to use DSP Trigger on my Linux machine with Reaper. Unfortunately, in the software download section there is no version for Linux.
In another post, Rob mentioned he is not developing DSPT right now:

I'm not currently developing DSPT. I would like to when I have more time, but I don't know then that will be.
Is there some workaround? When I tried to install it with Wine, I do not see any program to run, it just added some .dll file to my Program Files. I considered buying Edrumin, but the 10 version is sold out and I anyways already have an audio interface with 16 inputs so I would like to avoid buying additional HW if not completely necessary. Thanks for any tips.

This sometimes works with Carla as a shim - search for "run windows vst on linux reaper carla" e.g. https://edrums.github.io/en/archlinux/r ... indows-vst
