working with Main Stage

Postby Enric » Sun Feb 05, 2017 7:36 pm

I'm trying to make DSP Trigger with different programs but didn't succeed so far. With Main Stage it opens, but does not seem to get any audio from my Motu. Can't find anywhere in the software where to check that our.
Any idea?

I'm with the trial version until don't make it work. It asks right away for the serial number, so I close that window. Can that be the problem?

did you choose the correct input for the channel strip?
Works like a charm for me with Mainstage 3.
Create an audio channel strip and choose the input(s) in which you plugged your pad, select mono or stereo depending on pad and used inputs and select 'no output' (or whichever output you wanna use to listen to the raw sound of the pad/piezo...)
After that you should already be able to see the level meter moving when playing the pad/tapping the piezo.
Then you choose DSP Trigger as an Audio FX - (when that plugin is enabled the channel strip level meter will not show Pad/Piezo activity anymore).
Hope you didn't give up yet on Mainstage with DSP Trigger...
