Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.1 BETA
Thanks for the feedback. Ideally it won't be better or worse than before, but it means that eDRUMin will be able to read FSRs connected to the ring of a trigger input, which might lead to some interesting DIY designs for snares.

Re: Having an issue getting up and going....
Do you have a link for the cables you bought? Sounds like they are the culprit.

Re: Alesis pads too hot?
I just use a handful of SD3 kits and I've adjusted my eDRUMin settings so they sound good for all of the those kits. Maybe I would run into issues if I started working with more applications. Being able to set a separate velocity curve for positional sensing has come up several times in the past, an...

Re: Alesis pads too hot?
Getting solid dynamics is all about fine-tuning the eDRUMin gain and velocity curve. You should get your dynamics right before the MIDI goes into your drumming app. eDRUMin has analog gain and its curve is applied to 10 bit values, whereas any MIDI application will only have digital gain and velocit...

I'll test tomorrow. What eDRUMin are you using?

Re: Having an issue getting up and going....
Do the drums seem to work in the eDRUMin Control Application? What application are you using to produce your sounds?

Re: Make hard rim hits trigger Rimshot
You can have separate curves for each articulation.LooseSends wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 6:40 pmWhat would be nice is to be able to have a separate articulation curve and gain setting for rim/sidestick hits so they don't have to share the same as snare hits.

Re: Alesis pads too hot?
If the signal from your pads is clipping the eDRUMin VU meter when the velocity curve is off and the gain setting is 1 (it's lowest value), then your pads are indeed too hot. What weight of sticks are you using?

Re: metal 3 zone bell sensitivity
I just had a look. To determine if a bell should be triggered eDRUMin computes the ratio of the bell signal strength / bow signal strength. This number needs to be at least 0.5. So if your bell piezo isn't at least half as strong as your bow signal, you won't be able to trigger a bell.

Re: Which HiHat and Ride Cymbal is the Best with Edrumin?
Bell sense doesn't support hihats. As for the cymbal, the CY15R is my favorite.
