Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.1 BETA
I've tested all my cymbals--even attaching clothes pins to them to simulate a worn out switches, but I'm still unable to reproduce the choking issue. That said, I've posted build 25 with a small change that would help out in a situation where the edge is triggered, but the switch (for whatever mecha...

Re: metal 3 zone bell sensitivity
For compatibility with other manufacturers, your bell piezo needs to be connected to the ring and not the tip.
I'll think about adding another wiring diagram to the manual.

Re: HiHat Level or CC Mode?
The only reason why you might use hihat levels mode is if you're triggering on a Roland module, which means a separate notes for open and closed hihat hits, or some other application that doesn't support CCs.

Re: USB Host with DM8 Module
I just realized that. Whenever clicking the midi monitor it seemed to crash. I now have the DM8 stable. I can see that it is sending midi data and have selected on the dm8 which midi notes I want that to send. How do I then route that through ED10 and out to my VST It will automatically route it. Y...

Re: USB Host with DM8 Module
Not sure what the issue might be. You avoid using the eDRUMin MIDI Monitor. There's an issue right now where if more than 7 messages arrive within about 50 ms, it will likely crash the eDRUMin hardware. But as long as the MIDI monitor isn't open, there should be no issue.

Re: metal 3 zone bell sensitivity
You have the pot wired up as a rheostat and have it connected to the bow piezo of the cymbal?

Re: USB Host with DM8 Module
It's definitely designed to work that way. Does the DM8 power itself via USB or does it have an external power adapter?

Re: Midi Mapping - Custom notes?
There is no single standard of converting MIDI note numbers to MIDI note names. Some applications set C4=60, some set C3=60, and I'm sure there are even more standards. To avoid any confusion, you can enter note numbers into the eDRUMin custom notes, and that'll work as expected. Also, although not ...
