1 - I'm using EzDrummer 3 as a VST here, but there is no preset for it (only for Superior Drummer). So, I created a custom preset. For drumming, you probably wouldn't use Control Change. But imagine you are playing guitar and want to use an expression pedal (or hihat controller pedal) to control some effects for your guitar. That's when you would use control change mode.
