I'm pretty sure that firmware version saves presets just fine. You do realize that saving presets saved them to your computer not the device, right? To load a saved preset, you need to double click it, which sends it to the device.

Maybe "mechanical issues" is not the right term. It's just that the switches are more sensitive and prone close at unexpected times. It's actually helpful because it will ensure eDRUMin is robust. I'm still going to wait until I hear from others before I do anything else. eDRUMin hardware ...

AFAIK Ableton Live only supports aftertouch messages while the associated note is still playing, otherwise it disregards them.
