Re: eDrumin4 + DSP Trigger & Behringer U-PHORIA UMC1820 USB Audio Interface for complete drum set?

I think it's a valid setup. My current setup is eDRUMin4 : Hihat (dual zone), pedal, 2 crash cymbals (3-zone) and 1 Ride (3-zone) DSP Trigger and Behringer Ultragain Pro 8 : Snare (3-zone), 3 toms (high and mid tom:2 zone, floor tom:2 zone) and Kick. I made this combo recently since I moved one of m...

Re: Different notes based on velocity

Feature request noted. I could possible implement that as part of the note banks, but I would still need to allocate some memory for the velocity cutoffs. Assuming no overlaps, that would require an extra 3 bytes for each articulation, and because inputs can be set to dual mono, we'd need to multip...

Re: DTX Multi 12 and eDRUMin

Rob is correct regarding the usb and midi connections! :geek: I have a Roland PDX-100 as a snare and two Yamaha PXY-100 as hihat cymbal and ride cymbal connected to eDRUMin. A Yamaha HH65 pedal is also connected to the pedal input of eDRUMin. It's a very compact and great responding setup. I also ha...

Re: Different notes based on velocity

Dont know which drum sampler you use but you can do that in superior 3 by stacking articulations and using the velocity gate. I can do it in many drumsamplers (and I pretty much have them all 👽🙈), but I want to do it without a drumsampler or computer. I want to use it live, triggering samples and c...

Different notes based on velocity

Hi Rob I would find it very useful to be able to trigger different notes per articulation based on velocity. For example, if I hit my snare in the center with velocity 0-40 note 1 is triggered and if I hit my snare in the center with velocity 41-80 note 2 is triggered etc. Would also be cool if both...

Re: Positional Sensing CC data on Rimshot Hits possible?

Sounds doable in theory. Might be hard to get stable and useful in reality. I guess it would be done by adding the positional data to the algorithm after the rimshot detection is processed.

I added it.
Thanks Rob!

It’s a pretty common pad and it’s still in production.
I’ll buy one and and try it now that I know it’s working.

My plan is to add a eDrumin4 (with a Roland pdx-100 and two Yamaha pcy-100) to a Yamaha DTX Multi 12 drum unit.

Re: Unofficially supported devices

Has anyone tried positional sensing with a Roland pdx-100 and edrumin?

Re: Just because I'm crazy as a fox

Did you try positional sensing on the PDX-100? :geek:
